“For me, this book is a time capsule of love. It shows how, even as time fades and children grow, parent-child relationships remain imprinted and preserved in memory.”

Meet Qinghan Mu

Qinghan Mu is a memoir author whose writing explores motherhood, emotional healing, family relationships, and personal growth.

Born in China, Qinghan left school at a young age and learned to become self-reliant. Her life journey included periods of hardship, uncertainty, and emotional struggles that shaped her understanding of resilience and perseverance.

The birth of her two children became a turning point in her life. Through motherhood, she discovered renewed strength, purpose, and healing. Their presence helped her navigate life’s challenges while teaching her profound lessons about love, patience, forgiveness, and personal transformation.

Inspired by these experiences, Qinghan began recording family memories, reflections, and everyday moments through diary writing. These journals eventually became the foundation for her memoir, Growing Up Together.

Her writing captures the beauty found in ordinary family experiences and demonstrates how children often become unexpected teachers, helping parents grow alongside them.

Qinghan previously published Depression Self-Help Notes and continues to write about emotional well-being, personal growth, and the healing power of relationships.

Today, she lives in the United States with her family and remains dedicated to preserving stories that celebrate love, resilience, and the human capacity for growth.

“Sometimes I wonder: am I truly raising my children, or are they quietly nurturing me?”
